When you register for a free finSPOT account using Google Sign-In, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We store this information solely to provide you with access to the platform and to personalize your experience.
We do not collect or store your Google password. Authentication is handled entirely by Google's secure OAuth 2.0 service.
We use your email address to manage your account, send you notifications you have opted into (such as company follow alerts), and communicate important updates about the service. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use finSPOT. Google Analytics collects anonymized usage data such as pages visited, session duration, and device type. This data helps us improve the platform. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Your data is stored securely on Supabase (hosted on Amazon Web Services). We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access or disclosure.
