finSPOT ("we", "us", or "our") operates the website finspot.ge. This page describes what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding that information.
When you register for a free finSPOT account using Google Sign-In, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We store this information solely to provide you with access to the platform and to personalize your experience.
We do not collect or store your Google password. Authentication is handled entirely by Google's secure OAuth 2.0 service.
We use your email address to manage your account, send you notifications you have opted into (such as company follow alerts), and communicate important updates about the service. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use finSPOT. Google Analytics collects anonymized usage data such as pages visited, session duration, and device type. This data helps us improve the platform. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Our servers keep a technical record of requests to finSPOT: the IP address and the approximate location derived from it, the browser user-agent, the page or company record requested, the referring page and the time. On company profiles we also record which section is opened (for example, the balance sheet or ratios). If you are signed in, these records are linked to your account.
We use these records to keep the service secure, to detect and investigate automated extraction and other misuse of the database that our Terms of Use prohibit, to enforce account and licence limits, and to understand how the platform is used so we can improve it. They are accessible only to finSPOT and are never sold or used for advertising.
Detailed records are kept for up to 180 days. After that we keep daily summaries. Summaries linked to your account are deleted when your account is deleted, unless we need them to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.
Your data is stored securely on Supabase (hosted on Amazon Web Services). We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access or disclosure.
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at info@finspot.ge.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
